Get the Yankee out

I undertand the frustration and not covering Coleman’s history. But we need to now get behind the club more than ever. It's not the time in my opinion to start another negative wave. They are not going. They just invested. Let's try and build something even if your faith in them is low.
I've bumped in to him on a few occasion by pure coincidence with the latest one after the Bristol City game in a restaurant with his Daughters.

What I will say about the guy is he genuinely cares about the club and wants us to succeed.

Whilst he's not done a great job to date the abuse thrown at him by a few on here is a bit extreme.

That's interesting. I have been saying it for a while. The guy has made some mistakes and I'll put my neck out on this.

1. I personally beleive he cares for the club and fans.

2. He had to deal with last ownership and issues to get them gone.

3. The events with Paul Watson - If beleive the rumours was not expected and left Coleman in a tricky situation

4. Williams did not help at all on and off pitch

5. Coleman had new sporting director lined up, but couldn't get his man until Feb.

This meant he was left to handle the window with no or little football experience. And trusted those who did not help.

Look, alot are gonna come back at me for the above but for once can we all just get behind him the team etc. And hell if he gets it wrong then we will soon know.

I don't like certain things like him not firing Williams earlier. But you can imagine he was cornered even if he did alot himself. And trust me I have had alot of frustration and Coleman is no saint.

Why did he promise the moon to Williams when hiring. Why didn't he go sooner etc. And so on... If we are relegated then things need to be assessed. But not now. Yes fans forum and maybe cooler heads.

If Williams was here then Coleman was under microscope. He is not redeemed for sacking. But it's come, it's gone.

But I won't apologise or back track on the above. I undertand caring doesn't get us anywhere and I have more questions than answers, but let's get to saftefy. And yes rebuild in the summer.

My understanding is that all five of those points are spot on

Williams is quite well known for having no filter during interviews for saying what he shouldn't, and he pretty much spelt out the story himself that the people that Coleman had around him that he thought he could trust when it came to the January window all let him down / fed him a load of bollox. He had no professional support network to help him out and he overworked himself trying to do everything by himself because he had no one he felt he could count on.

Some might call that tough luck and its his fault for not getting the right people around him. Fair enough to those who say that, but you can't slam someone for having a lack of experience but trying their best when they felt they had surrounded themselves with experience to make up for that shortcoming only to discover that they had talked a lot but delivered little.

That was definitely not helped by Williams and his public courting of the West Brom job, nor was it helped by the sudden and very dramatic downturn in performances and results that came about because of Williams whoring himself out like that.

It may not be the final version of the internal reshuffle but a reshuffle it is nonetheless. At the very least in Montague he does have someone who has been involved in the football side of business for a good number of years albeit not at this level of the game.

What he and the club needs now is for us to stop throwing shade and abuse and for us to get behind the players and the club and give the new look setup a chance to get their feet under their desks and hopefully... HOPEFULLY we will have a transfer window in the summer that doesn't stink of embarrassment or desperation.

I fear our comments will cause a stir 😂😂 though I agree whole heartenly. Many will say, we'll it's not our problem, he should of surrounded himself with people etc etc. Yes, I have been steaming for weeks, so angry about Williams not going. And if Williams was here now I would be angry at Coleman. No way am I defending. But I don't know only he kmows, but if people did some reading and research it's not difficult to see that Coleman was not totally to blame. Anyone who what's to argue that, just go and watch any Williams press conferences over last few months. Go do some research on Paul Watson and the events that lead to take over. Many factors.

Also I for one will not be throwing any more shades at the club for time being. It's time to move on and build even if it's short lived.

If and that's a if, we go down, there will be questions. But we cannot think like this.

The fans have been behind the team and travelled and paid to watch them. And they have let us down.

Will Saturday be another disappointing game. Who knows? But I cannot be bothered with this whole yanks out shit.

I totally agree that we need to get behind the players, I put a few posts out a little while ago that we needed to get behind the team.
One person shouldn't stop people from getting behind the team and I will keep a close eye on things from here. Going by what a lot of people have been saying, I would now expect a big increase in attendance Saturday and people now to renew or get season tickets.

We shall see, on all fronts.

Half term holiday will negatively offset some of the boost coming from the Williams sacking.

Caring about a multi million pound business isn’t a reason to give him slack. He has no business being head of a professional football team. Not just him, there’s plenty like him but I don’t care about other clubs.

Williams got tons of stick on here (and rightly so in the end) but he is a result of those above him, the heads need to be held to account.

He can talk to me and tell me how much he cares until he’s blue in the face, not interested in what he has to say, I’m only interested in results, on and off the pitch.

In short, fuck him.

So let me get this straight, a poster on here was mad at Willy but can't be bothered being mad at the man that hired him and gave him the squad to coach. Common sense ain't for everyone I guess. Wait till the next manager fails because of the lack of investment into the club.

If there had been zero changes made in the background I would agree.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of madness or so Einstein said

However on paper at least it looks like Coleman is less involved in the overarching project and that people are being brought in to focus on designated roles. If he still fails after this then I agree he has nowhere to hide but there are enough conmen in this industry to know that it wouldn't have been hard for someone who wasn't savvy enough to recognise bullshit being spewed in his direction to believe what was said to him until it was too late.

The proof in the pudding of his fitness to be involved at a football club will come in the summer and to a lesser extent bringing in the right man to manage the first team over the next few weeks.

Victor, Is that subtle dig aimed at me?

You're relying to someone who enjoys negativity. The more things go wrong the more they are happy.

It's a weird way to live your life.
