• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Keith Harris would be a better option nowadays to be honest, with Orvile operating from the other end ...

Would they both be out for a duck when batting?

WTF do I know - wicketless and bowled a 9 ball over.

Draw

Glam 426/7

Cooke 134 n/o

vdG 52 n/o

They gave us a lot of extras including 5 penalty runs. Did well to get a draw.

The batsmen must be banging thier heads against the wall having to share a dressing room with such substandard bowlers, apart from TVDG the rest are awful.
The buck stops at Morris and Maynard for not perusing better recruitment, not just this season but for several before...

At present we've only got frontline batsmen from 3 -7, the rest are all lower order batsmen.

Who the fvck decided Andy Gorvin should come in at No 8 in front of vdG??

Last season v Durham, wanting 196 too win - Maynard decided to take the P1ss when Lloyd couldn't open by putting Salter and Gorvin to open.

It all went tits up and we were all out for 137.

That avoidable loss eventually cost us promotion.

I see what you are saying but unbelievably we have 18 bowling points and only 12 batting points. 🤔
