• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Glam 90/3

Derby commentator said it's 5 years since they've won at home, and 2 years since they last won a County match.

Glam are doing their "best" to help Derby with that elusive win.😂😂
And there it is. 😂

Glam 287

Derby 27/0

With fvck all to play for, we sign 2 "pace" bowlers - 1 overseas and 1 from Somerset. A great advert for our 2nd X1.

I don't think there's enough pies in Rossi's for this pair to fvcking chuck. 😂

Another rinse and repeat red ball season, I'd give Cook his cards after the way he's conducted himself, obviously putting more effort into doing the rounds at his benefit season fundraising events.

I'm up that neck of the woods, plucking up the courage for a day's pass, will probably depend on the weather on the day
That’s what’s putting me off. It’s a lot of bunce to fork out for hotels etc on the off chance that the autumn weather plays ball.

If the weather forecast is reasonable I'll go but if it's up and down it's a day at Chester Zoo with the fam.
Hoping for good weather 🙏

Majid Khan , any other takers for the best overseas batsman for Glamogan ever , I doubt it .

Sir Viv was good as was Javed Miandad in their time down here .

Early 70s , St. Helens and Majid were my go to Summer days out ,

No wonder cricket's fvcked.
Dowthwaite bowling and gets hit for 4, and the umpire takes them off for bad light - no chance of using spin or any offer from umpires.

They come back out and he finishes his over, and Northeast gives the ball to VdG - bowls a few balls - off for good, bad light.

22 overs lost - Northeast - thick as fvck not to use Crane and Carlson tonight.

Why they don't consult the batsmen before making a decision anymore is baffling! Is it a H&S thing I'm wondering?

I haven't seen any directive on this from the ICC 🤷‍♂️
