However, I think Williams has handled it very poorly, one way or another. I don't know whether he's been hedging his bets, openly making it clear he's interested in moving or simply saying the wrong thing/not understanding how analysed it will all be... Whatever though, it probably warrants a word from above and a re-think for the next time it happens.

If the lads put in a very weak performance tomorrow and get thoroughly spanked I wouldn't be surprised if Coleman (who by many accounts in the rumour mill was pretty livid about how this whole thing has materialized and been handled) pulls the trigger.

Well the gossip seems to be fooling quite a lot of people. There’s no credible info, yet people are losing their sh*t. As for the barmy army chants, they will continue and I’ll happily join in. Some of us support the team on match day (despite whinging on here lol).

There are plenty of ways to support the lads without xxx's barmy army lending support to the manager.

In any case tomorrow might be a very tough atmosphere for the players, if they don't start like a house on fire the frustrations combined with plenty of ill feeling (justified or not) about this whole fiasco could quickly turn the crowd nasty
