• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Has he gone? Or if not when will it happen?

The chairman speaks.

“There has been some unhelpful speculation regarding our head coach, Luke Williams, and links to today’s opponents. I want to assure you that Luke remains fully committed to Swansea City. I know that his focus is on guiding our team to success, and we are united in our efforts to achieve our goals for the season.”

Well he would say that wouldn’t he? Definitely getting ready to sack him. Bridges burned etc.

lol

An interesting report on BBC Wales News on this. Not because of Luke’s reactions, but the clips that were shown of training.
One clip showed the practicing of the short goal kick, where someone passes to Vig. The other clip showed Grimes playing the ball to the halfway line where someone lost possession.
Two identifying traits of our game. At least we’ve got them nailed 😁

Do you think he’ll see the season out?

Where did you pluck that from?

Events dear boy, events. Results will always determine the outcome. Coleman mentions “goals for the season” so if he meets those and any interim milestones, he’s secure. Everyone needs to be firmly behind him now.

Daggers in hand 🤣

Just hope we won’t get another Russ January situation where we was reluctant to bring players in knowing he’d be off in the summer.

Doesn't the club have PR/communication people who should be managing the situation.
