Well pardon me for speaking out against nasty comments, it's nothing to do with sexuality. The point is calling out unfounded and unjust comments. Pretty abhorrent in my book, and when quizzed about it, start twisting stuff to wriggle out of it, the facts are she called and others dickheads and bigots for no valid reason, they did nothing, and the team should never have been put in that position. Hmm I did say I wasn't replying to any more dimwits today. Drat.

You'd need to stop talking to yourself then mate, cause you seem to be a bit twp. Still haven't answered how they're not bigoted if they're making selective choices on what part of their religion actually matters to them...

Also, refusing to wear the shirt isn't 'doing nothing', it is by definition an action. You aching simpleton.

Refusing to wear a shirt is not an action BTW, if you don't do something, it does not mean you are against it. Doing something would be an action, hope that clears that up for you.

Honestly, it's like talking to a brick wall.

Upon being presented with the shirts, the players in question have said 'I'm not wearing that'. Choosing not to wear the shirt is an action. Can you honestly not understand that?

Still waiting for an answer on the selective religion question btw...

So if I said to you jump up and down 3 times, and you didn't do it, what action have you done?

Just my opinion, but they shouldn't have been put in the spotlight like this, I must admit, I'd never heard of them before, but from what I have read their Christian beliefs were well known, so I guess the question begs, why weren't they consulted first? That's the problem, I think calling them dickheads, homophobes, bigots for them doing nothing is a step too far. As far as I can see, they have done nothing wrong, the players, if anyone is at fault it's the hierarchy at that club.

Aye, blame the club for promoting tolerance, you wouldn't have seen this palaver in the 80's though would you kid.
Anyway, pace yourself, it's only 5pm.

Massive issue in Australia, the rest of the crowd on here are not aware as well, I remember writing about Folau and his wife Maria, people didn't have a scooby.
God fearing people who's forefathers were radicalised by English missionaries and now the English and the quislings have changed their minds and are now calling them out, you could not make it up.

You literally described their action a couple of posts ago you utter moron. You said they ‘refused’ to wear the shirt.

I realise you think you’re being clever. It’s all a bit sad.

Refusing? Maybe I said that, I'm not going to bother to look, the fact of the matter is, they didn't wear it, so it's like I said not doing something is not an action.

Repeating it won’t make it right. Going on strike is a deliberate action.

They are a bunch of bigoted, hypocritical dickheads. Pharisees.

Not trying to be clever, I just take a dislike to people like YOU calling others dickheads homophobes and bigots for no valid reason. You are a right little charmer aren't you, calling me a moron!
Haven't you got any washing up or sarnie making to do. Jeez.

So if I say to you, go and make us a cheese and tomato sandwich, and you don't what action have you done? Not doing something is never an action.

Not doing something is always an action as it’s a choice. Whilst ‘Gilead’ Independent seems to be quite happy to allow homophobic threads and even allow some to revel in them; some of us think equality regardless of sexuality, colour or nationality is fairer. Now that’s not to say those that abuse equality are above criticism or indeed the law.

Writing ‘it’s common sense’ in a thread is never that. It’s always reaffirming the opinion you already hold.

Most dictionaries would disagree with that statement. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/doing#:~:text=1%20%3A%20the%20act%20of%20performing,b%20%3A%20social%20activities
