The passive position would have been to play. Same as the passive position is for the rail workers to go to work.

I’d have a little more respect for you in some ways if you just held your hands up and said you think being gay is wrong and you don’t think gay people should have equal rights. As at least that way you’d be a bigot with some degree of honesty rather than a bigot who’s also a coward.

You may, however, wish to reflect on why you are always so anti everyone different than yourself when their lives have literally no impact on your own. It’s a level of insecurity that must make life a misery for you.

Yes, I'm bored talking to you as well, seems a pointless exercise, as you just don't get it. They didn't do anything, the club took it for granted that they would wear that shirt, hence the club made a statement apologising for their lack of consultation. Well pardon me for speaking out against nasty comments, it's nothing to do with sexuality. The point is calling out unfounded and unjust comments. Pretty abhorrent in my book, and when quizzed about it, start twisting stuff to wriggle out of it, the facts are she called and others dickheads and bigots for no valid reason, they did nothing, and the team should never have been put in that position. Just my opinion, but they shouldn't have been put in the spotlight like this, I must admit, I'd never heard of them before, but from what I have read their Christian beliefs were well known, so I guess the question begs, why weren't they consulted first? That's the problem, I think calling them dickheads, homophobes, bigots for them doing nothing is a step too far. As far as I can see, they have done nothing wrong, the players, if anyone is at fault it's the hierarchy at that club.
