I know, but for all that we're in a decent run of form if we win on Saturday. The table is irrelevant at the moment. Coule of wins and you're top ten. Current form is the horse to back.

I do think someone has forced the current form on him, mind you. If these suicide injury time disasters continue, then our form won't be good for long, but as I said, sacking him now would be bizarre unless Hull turn us over, because I think they will be at the arse end, come May.

So if we beat Hull you wouldn't sack him but if Hull beat us you'd sack him, now that is bizarre.

No, personally, I'd sack him anyway.

What I'm saying is beat Hull and he can point to an upturn in form, but if they do us (and yes, by that I mean no mitigation, we're just second best) then the longer period comes more into focus. Some games are like that, even though these decisions should not come down to a single game. As it happens, I don't think they'll sack him even if we do another Luton.

Thanks for the clarification

Today's the day.

If he twists and worms his way back to his suicidal football and we capitulate like we always do, he's gone.

If he's told to stick with ~50% possession ~400 passes, play it forwards quicker with more purpose - he gets October to see if the enforced changes in style and set up can truly stick.
