If Cooper leaves...Who takes over?

Appleton would be my preference, he was when they hired Cooper. Has done an excellent job with Lincoln and would have similar level contacts as Cooper.

Ryan Lowe is another interesting one, I think he'll manage at a high level eventually although it might be a bit too soon for him.

Talking of our past and respected players who actually care (Curt, Leon, Angel, Wayne etc.): surely they could put together a big takeover bid, with some local money bags who give a damn about the Club? Yes, I know it's a bit of a daydream, but surely not improbable, let alone impossible?

To do what?

Neil Critchley is an interesting one, plays good attacking football for Blackpool got them promoted and will have good links to youth players, obviously it would be a case of us paying compo for him and if he wanted to leave them after getting them promoted to the same league as us.

I've not been keeping up with any rumours on this - are we seriously being linked with anyone, or just speculation so far?

Lets have a consortium management team of Leon, Rangel, KOL , Toshack, Tate and Routs (for the dressing room) that should cover all bases
