• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Three wickets there to a spinner and not one of the balls actually spun at all. The demons from the last test are still planted firmly in their heads.
Clever little blighters mind - pitching one or two prior deliveries that have turned significantly (and slightly shorter so the batsman can deal with it, but clock the spin), then pitching a straighter one up. Batsman anticipates spin that wasn't there. Lbw or clean bowled then. Edged if they're lucky!

Crawley the only positive today.
He plays some lovely shots.
Root looks a bit flustered, I hope he has a direct line to Bumble who could calm him down.

Root looks shell shocked. If the umpires had yellow cards, he would have had 2 today.
Stokes, Broad and Pope would have been close.

It looks like they can't trust Stokes as a front line bowler with his injuries, and he looks wrecked facing the Indian spinners.

Regarding Stokes, hope he's not on his way to burnout. For me, the Ashes are everything so will Jimmy and Broad be around for them? If not, then maybe time to experiment come the summer to prepare for them. ?

The ECB is more concerned with white ball cricket at the moment (so I'm hearing)

Alex Hales on fire again in the Pakistan T20 league

Can't wait for tomorrow. I know it's pc incorrect but it's nice to see people (crowd) enjoying themselves, albeit I understand the downsides. I'm really looking forward to seeing that crease divot really develop. I reckon a foot deep is a possibility. It could even get its own name by the end. TrenchyMcTrenchface?
