Put me down as a fearful one JustJack. A lot of focus on the environmental impact of Bitcoin. It’s also far too volatile as a medium of exchange. My biggest fear is the old maxim in the City that when your cabbie driver is talking about it - it’s time to get out. Congratulations to those who rode the wave and realised their paper profits!

The environmental stuff is actually a huge misconception, for example research has proven that a significant % of energy from the mining process comes through renewable sources, such as hydro-electricity

Bitcoin, although itself the flag bearer, will never be the best medium of exchange in the cryptocurrency space.

There is a beautiful irony to the idea of banks telling people where they can and cannot spend their money, especially in regard to the growing premise of decentralised finance. Many have commented you could buy drugs, ammunitions or whatever illicit service you want far easier than you could send your money to a cryptocurrency exchange!

Every time I see it covered by a tech site they comment on the huge energy use and it's negative affect on the environment. Additionally...

Over the past few weeks I’ve opened small positions in Doge, Miota, Trx and Xrp, it’s interesting watching the prices fluctuate so much. I’m holding them until this time next year, hopefully.😄

TRX looks like it’s on the up Lifelong. Squirreled some spread bets on this.

Been following Kerry Grinkmeyer on you tube, he’s the founder of “Best of Us Investors”

Very interesting for those interested in investing for the future, well worth a watch.

Anyone got any views on inflation hedges? Protecting value rather than exceeding for growth.

Anybody investing in Martingaleball ?

A losing strategy, for sure. Certainly not the Swansea way, in so many ways (investment model, football style etc)

(*Martingale is an investment strategy, for the twps here. Has a certain ring to it, right now)

Andy, I appreciate you have just joined us this month from another Swans site. Is EVERY post going to be a WU, or are you going to mix and match.

Just curious.

Hey Walt, make this the last time that you respond to this bewt. It won’t take long for him to go back to playing Fortnite.

Cheers Cooperman. The first and last time he gets a response. WUM of the highest order.

Long-term trading is the best way to invest your money. By choosing this type of trading, the trader's priority is not to profit from speculating on price differences but to invest in a rising coin. This is a more reliable option, which will allow earning money if you spend a little patience. You can learn more about how to make money from coins and download mt5 for pc. Invest your money wisely, analyze every coin you want to invest in, and then make more money.

People will say what they want about crypto in terms of the market, but the actual technology (i.e blockchain) is going to be the future.

Imagine how useful it would be to be able to trade energy across the world this winter? If someone from Australia in the heat of summer had surplus energy then they could trade it with a family in Neath who needed additional supply.

Unless quantum computing spoils the party.

In theory yes, but the reality is a ways away yet.

They think it will be 10 years before there will be enough power to even cause bother.

I’m a simple man, and all my investments are a few apartments I rent out. It’s not much, but it’s honest work and sustainable income. This way, the risks of losing money are lower because people always need somewhere to live, and rent prices become only higher day by day.
It’s been fine so far, and I hope it stays this way. I have three apartments for rent now, two of which I’ve inherited from my father, who was also an investor. He was more successful than I was because I decided to follow my heart and become a doctor. It’s hard to make good money being a doctor, but thanks to http://www.thefinitygroup.com, I still managed to set up some trusts and can be sure about my retirement. Additionally, the rent money helps a lot.

Sadly through necessity last year I had to liquidate 99% of my portfolio, thankfully at the right time through nothing but luck and circumstance.

It certainly is a buying period for cryptocurrency though, especially with the next Bitcoin halving just one year away.
