When the Dow dropped to 18,000 a few months ago, that was a good time to buy stocks like the tech stocks not affected by covid

With the Dow now close to 30,000 its time to get out imo

Unless you think it will keep pushing it's all time highs, as it has done for 40+ years.

Truthfully while you can look for patterns and indicators, there is no logic at all, especially at the moment. I went with my gut and took some profit out before the US election, amid all the inevitable turmoil and uncertainty, but things went the other way and some of my sold stocks went parabolic, such is the game.

The post March recovery was carried mainly on the shoulders of the tech giants, Amazon, Tesla etc, even Bezos himself has said that Amazon's growth in the near future is going to slow down down significantly, and Musk straddles the line between crazy and genius more than anyone in recent history.

If you know the industry, or are comfortable with the risk, there's some serious coin to be made from backing the smaller EV companies, I say smaller in comparison to the behemoth of Tesla. Arcimoto went nuts last week, one I looked at recently, but missed the rise on, sadly.

Oh the FTSE is gash, especially if you're looking for an index to park some funds in.

Like you said, much better option to look at a Developing market WORLD index

Blockchain is just hype. It will be many years before any chance of viability(if ever).

I wouldn't say bad, back to 17k and finding support there, the price it was at only 10 days ago.

Was always going to be a point of profit taking for some once it got so close to the all time high, now it's cleared out some of those, hopefully the next ascent will have more impetus to progress beyond 20k

Topshop never developed the online aspect of their business, resulting in getting a drastic kicking by the likes of ASOS and Boohoo, with Phillip Green arrogant enough to claim that '...physical store units will never die off'

It won't be long before you can just send coins with one click of an app your phone, especially with the likes of PayPal now in the mix.

I believe you already can do so, but it hasn't been mass adopted.

Yes all motor manufacturers can make an electric car and will be, get out of Tesla if you have any holdings.

I think they are widely regarded as being in the Tech sector, rather than Consumer. I don't think that side of their brand will hold out eventually, with companies fighting each other in regards to the improvement of battery technology, and the use of hydrogen as a renewable source.

5 straight quarters of profit, I just don't particularly like the 'cult of personality' thing, while investing in a stock. Musk has been told by the regulators to stop posting tweets that intentionally cause volatility in the market.
