Just small things but a few words here and there by RM. An example from his pre match press conference when he used the phrase if given time.

He's quite unique is our Russell Martin, boring both home and away fans in equal measures.

The pressures starting to show on us poor sods that have to watch, that’s for sure.

Very true.

As I say they are all just small things but the pre Blackpool interview, he wasn't in full flow and seemed hesitant in some answers.
The number of times he was fidgeting and folding his arms, are supposedly very defensive body language.

11 very important games now. Not for league position, but for keeping certain players and for convincing new players to sign.

I just have a feeling that he is still telling the players that the results don’t matter as this season is about learning to just pass it around. We simply wont progress like that and the pressure will increase and increase. We won’t be just turning it on differently in August. This stuff just won’t wash and he can’t get away with this utter bullshit for much longer. His comments yesterday are so far from what everyone else knows to be the reality, that eventually, the dam will burst.

No doubt there will be good and bad performances in the remaining games , he is not under any pressure though, that will come next season if we start badly

I think he is lucky the 11 games count for nothing ( I know the Cardiff game counts for many, but TBH play like we did yesterday and it will be a long bubble trip for nothing for those attending)
I think if we continue not just losing but with inept performances fans will turn on him before too long

Having been one of the "give him time/ no pre season/ rebuild and any other excuse possible" defenders of Martin up until around Xmas time, I'm flummoxed by the pure stubbornness of the man.

Play out from the back at any cost- cost us at least 2 goals from Fulham. Has given every team numerous chances all season- some taken, some blasted wide of the target.
If I could see the folly from the start of Martin's tenure, why can't he?

We can see no cutting edge with the possession, why can't he?

Personally, I think he has the squad to go on the attack at speed, keeping the ball (so keeping his be all/ end all possession stats) unless it's given to Smith- then it goes back to Fisher or to the opposition.
Personally speaking, I'd try a traffic cone instead of Smith, maybe more effective

Joel, Pato, Michael, Olivier and even Matty, to name a few, look deflated at times when they seem to be having to follow instructions to not try anything, but keep the ball.

We all know the merrycans won't sack good ol' Russy until we look like we're going to drop out of the championship.
But maybe they need to have a strong word and get him to try and win
Blackpool, even on that turnip field of a pitch, seemed to be there for the taking

" as this season is about learning to just pass it around."

You'd have thought after 35 games we would have mastered that. It still wouldn't lead to wins, but the giveaway goals would be a thing of the past.

I was open minded and willing to give him a chance. First 10 games reasons could be accepted, then came international breaks etc but there is still nothing to show progression has been made and that next season will be any different.

Was there yesterday and had we attacked them we could have won.
They weren't all that.
Just we were poorer.
I dont blame the players, they have the ability but Martin is not allowing them to show it.
I have defended the process all season and tried to see the positives and ignore the negatives.
However I am reaching the point where I cannot see any coming under Martin.
Think the time will come soon for the club to cut their losses with him.

Matt Gill took the pre match press conference today.

The press asked more searching questions than they do normally to RM

He wants the team like Citeh, but the daft bat doesn't have the players to do it, or owners with 500 mil to spend on players.
