So this Notts guy seems to have very little background in football until his Notts appointment?

He seems to be one of these data driven guys with a pragmatic approach to fitting players in by numbers and figures. You just know he is going to come into to town with an I am type of attitude then.

It's so important to have proper football people involved rather than these types of people who have just crashed into the sport earning silly money telling the proper football guys where they are going wrong.

Sadly we don't score goals at all most weeks. Championship defenders in the main can defend so we are stuffed with LW methodology.

it looks like he did his best to play that way but got unstuck against a different level of manager and player. no shame in that for someone at the start of his career
