• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Celtic winger Luis Palma mentioned today
Ok here goes, on his day he can absolutely destroy teams, under Postecoglou he was decent, Brendan lost patience with him constantly going missing and often taking the wrong option. Plus Daizen Maeda has been on fire the past 18 months.
Would i have him down here, absolutely, but only on loan as not sure if he'll take to Championship football.

Ahhh fair, my guess is he'll end up abroad rather than England, MLS has also been mentioned as an option.
He'll probably be on the bench tonight in the Champions league but will almost certainly go in the next couple of weeks as Celtic want him off the payroll.
With options it doesn't sound promising for us.

I’ve just read that Coventry are looking at taking Rabbi Matondo on loan from Rangers and Jeffrey Schlupp from Palace.

It shows what we are up against, with our reported financial constraints, when another mid table side are scouting what seems to be a different market than us.

It’s fine. I’ve found the answer to our scouting ineptitude. https://spinthewheel.app/football-players

Even if we still can’t get a deal done it will help with the rumours. It’s a win win 👍

We can't be taking risks on a player who hasn't played since April. We've only just got the likes of Liam Walsh off the payroll.

Edit, Didn't realise it was April 2023 👀

He's 27 and has only played 97 games, he sounds just about right for us.
