Thing is, in that scenario he remains PM until he resigns regardless of whether he’s no longer leader of the Tory Party. The Queen can’t/won’t appoint a new PM until the incumbent resigns.

Anoraks of constitutional policy rejoice.

Oh fuck yeah. Right in my bailiwick is this.

I still don’t think he’ll resign.

You may have seen me saying this on twitter but when I spoke to Will Humphries at The Timex back in January about partygate and my grandson not having a birthday party certain things I said weren’t printed in the paper including me saying whatever happens Johnson will NEVER resign.

Hark at Robert Peston over here

Some twat on Sky News now saying we have a competent deputy prime minister who can take over if Johnson goes. Leaving aside the fact that Raab is about as suited to being PM as my 17 year old dog, THAT’S NOT HOW BRITAIN WORKS YOU TWAT.

The Times contacted me and it just goes to show the stature of me.

It's astonishing how few people understand the constitution. Prime twàts like Matt Goodwin and Christopher Hope spectacularly show how ignorant they are

Steady on. Daz is many things but he isn't a sychophant who sucked Cummings' cock to be the ITK political editor

Priti Patel has seen the opportunity to evict someone from their home and gone in for the kill.

Even that thunderc**t Moggs is in there now going through with the charade, despite the shite he was spouting yesterday

He really is digging in!

He hadn't heard of politics until he found Twitter

A few established posters are absent from the best swans’ forums tonight, no idea why …….

Whatever happens with Bodger it’s too late anyway, at worst we’re already a pariah on the world stage and at best a laughing stock. This lot taken us backwards, at least half a century, and I just hope their final capitulation and humiliation is more painful than death itself for them.
