BBC are starting filming a documentary today following Joe Allen…

Don't think it was ever in doubt that he'd be here next season, to be honest.BBC are starting filming a documentary today following Joe Allen…

I'm 66 and I'd fancy my chances on one leg against the current version of Fulton Jaxs. I don't expect the club to pay me thousands a week though.Allen on one leg is better than Fulton...
Hahah fair, I doubt if we'd pay Allen a fortune for another 12 months, and I don't think he'd be expecting it, the reason I suspect Joe will be back next season is he'd have surely announced his retirement before today's game if his time was up.I'm 66 and I'd fancy my chances on one leg against the current version of Fulton Jaxs. That’s only completely true if we can get at least thirty league games out of him next season. I’m not sure we can.Im glad Joe is staying. He is not 38 and nothing left in him he is still a model pro with huge experience great determination and a skill level and vision that is still way above many on the field. It is clear that he has slowed down but he is not finished.
If he can keep Fulton out of the team for at least half the season then thats worth it in my eyes.Hmm. Not sure about that. He might be a Jack, but we need to try and rebuild around someone who can play regularly. (Someone like Travis at Blackburn seems available and has about 8 years more legs in him, for example).
