Kaplan backs Martin

I’m voting with my wallet on this charlatan of a manager. If he’s still here next season, I won’t be, as will a good few of my mates.
None of us renewing.
We’ve all had more than enough of this clown.

See, that's the thing here, I don't think the Merry cans have thought about how many people seem prepared to not renew ST's next year if Martin is still in charge.

He's had the backing of Kaplan, loosely translated that means he's fooked. That's what usually happens, right.

He did make sure to say that the final decision doesn't lie with Kaplan who last I looked wasn't on the board of directors any more. Unlike Levien and Silverstein he's just a major shareholder and source of financing.

Fair point, mind you if I was a major shareholder I dont think I'd be too happy with the current proceedings, even a blind man can see we are sinking fast, The difference between a Championship club and a league 1 side is millions come sale time. I dunno what the fook is going on.🥴

This needs to be on mass if there's too be any hope of change

What are they seeing, 1 win in 23 games against 11 men.. haven't kept a clean sheet in 2023, 3 months in.. 24th in interceptions, headers, tackles.. 24th goals conceded, 24th set piece goals conceded.. are they happy that we keep the ball in our own half 75% of our 85% possession in which the 75% we f*ck up gifting teams goals.. absolute shambles down there on and off the pitch.. are they blind to the obvious FFS

Looks like they are .
No reason why he is still with us

International break coming up. Handy time for a change? Is Kaplan in UK over the international break?
Is Kaplan chatting with potential managers in London well away from the glare of Swansea? Is there a sale of the club in the offing? Are we on the brink of a major change? Let new owners make the decision on Russ, something I guess will play into Russ' narrative for getting the next job "I wasn't sacked by the owners who employed me, only new owners". Cannot believe Russ has stayed unchallenged in post for this long without something going on in the background. And why the sudden mystery disappearance of Winter? Is his time spent working on a sale rather than day-to-day matters? Just feel there's something big on the horizon.

Doesn't get bigger than relegation.

Any idea what’s going on with the meeting Dar? It’ll probably end up with Martin having a new 5yr deal.

Hoping he's thinking at least 3 points out of Millwall and Bristol or Martin goes.We can't carry on like this into next season.

From what I can gather of American sports, it's unusual for a "Head Coach" to lose their job mid-season no matter how hapless they are. Most hiring and firing takes place in the breaks.

I'm clutching at straws here, but I hope that's the reason why they haven't got shot of Russy yet.

In a lot of American sport there's no prospect of relegation that could cost you millions as a result. There is at stake here .
