Would Cooper notice he'd gone?
I saw him as an Ayew style player (inside forward in old money) and his reaction after the Fulham error suggested he would have been welcomed back.
A player, imo, Cooper didn't want, didn't know what to do with but is useful to moan about his leaving.

Good on you, sticking to the party line. No matter how ridiculous it sounds.

And Cooper played him every game last season and this ....Oh, hang on.

How many times do you have to be told? It's like you're deliberately ignoring the point so you can try and make our shite owners look good, oh hang on...
It is crap management to tell a manager on the morning of the game that he can't pick a player in his squad. Argue that point apologist.

Apologist ... for what?
For not slagging off the 32% of the local owners of the club and 69% consortium?
For loving the Swans and hoping to see us play for as long as I draw breath?
For being in a league that for most of our existence was out of our reach?
For expecting entertaining football?
For not turning into one of those fans who thinks his team his owed other people's million to get to our rightful place in the Premier League?
And while I'm at it, the phrase, 'How many times do you have to be told? ' is really arrogant. Told what? Told to join the sheep and bah at the managers who are keeping Swansea City solvent and appoint people to get jobs done?
Seriously, who are you to be telling any other fan how to think?
Cooper said he was asked not told, he could have refused.
When asked
Did you want to keep him?
Cooper couldn't bring himself to say yes
"I didn't want to lose anybody, I said that last week," he said.
If I was in Julian Winter's position I'd spare the manager's embarrassment by having Snowflake Cooper behind closed doors to ask him to explain his whining to the press. Every time Cooper has something go against him he's whining to the press and publicly having a go at players.
What is obvious to those who aren't hell bent on running down the club is that Cooper didn't rate the Swede who enjoyed his time away from Swansea last season and wanted to leave. A club, not far from where he had played much of his football and within easy reach of his home, offered him a contract and us a few quid.
Reports in Europe had him travelling to Germany for a medical on Saturday / Sunday. If Cooper didn't know Peterson was wanting away what does he do as a manager?
Would you expect him to say Peterson must be on the bench for an afternoon while his chance to transfer disappears until January.
Surely you should be singing praises of Winter for giving you another reason to go into hyperbolic rage over sod all.
