Langstaff To Millwall ...

My Miwaw mate thinks Langstaff is the next Vardy...

Langstaff only plays in a 2 striker formation. Maybe LW doesn't see a fit.

It doesn't suit me at all.

What would suit me down to the ground is for the club to fully and unequivocally support a manager with players he truly wants, for the first time since they took over.

Anyway, I guess only time will tell. We'll soon know by the vibe coming off Williams the closer we get to the start of the season. Potter, Cooper and Martin made little attempt to hide their disappointment once the owners started playing silly buggers, I doubt he'll be any different if that's the case.
Martin was given players he wanted....Paterson Downs Laird in his first Window ...Fisher the following January Darling and Matty Sorinola the following summer....he was backed with many other players too....Yes come the next January he didn't get a sausage by then the owners were peed at him "demanding " Fisher and Darling then dropping them. They had lost patience especially when we went on that spectacular run of 21 games with 3 wins. Following a word in his ear by Kaplan Martin changed a few things and with the same squad he had had all season managed to finish 3 points shy of the playoffs had he adopted the formation and tactics he did for that 10 match run we might have found ourselves in the promotion game......This nonsense that the current ownership has not supporting managers needs to be stopped...Martinez wasn't unequivocally supported as he wanted the club to buy Jordi Gomez....so the same thing happened at the club long before the Yanks rode into town

Why has everything on this site - even the most innocuous observation about the generally shambolic way the club is run - always, always got to be brought back to Russell Martin?

Weirdos.

Because the myth Martin wasn't supported following no transfers in the January has fuelled the myth managers are not supported.
Whilst Cooper got Morris and Arriola but not the player perhaps he wanted hw was supported previously with the loans he was given at his request.
No one is giving the current local regime any time or grace.....rumours about no deals due to Coleman on holiday there have been mistakes in the past yes....but immediately things don't seem to happening the way fans think it's all down to the owners again.
Apparently there are some signings due to be announced...so let's wait and see.
Weird....maybe but RM did polarise the fan base and his apparent mistreatment has formed some exaggerated views of how the club is run

Gutted we didn't get this one over the line and ended up with a much younger striker with higher potential and probable re-sale value for the same cost............. tore it up against Leyton Orient last night

Seriously think we have dodged a Yates sized bullet here

He ain’t getting a lot of praise from them, their manager came out the other week saying 32 year old Bradshaw is going to be key for them this year and they need to get people in to help him upfront..
