I think it was Gareth Phillips’ book that summed up our history as 40 years as a second division side only interrupted by Adolf Hitler, followed by 40 years as a 3rd & 4th division team interrupted only by John Toshack.
That's a great line, fair play.

Bollocks.. we've signed 5 players costing over 1 million each, loaned in Championship player of the season for Burnley Manuel Benson and Malick Yalcouye who had multiple clubs attempting to sign him, because he dominated midfields in Europe apparently, plus 2 youngsters on loan and a journeyman CB.. Preston, Millwall, Bristol City, WBA, QPR and Stoke and Watford are above us in the table who didn't even come close to our spend.. our start has been mediocre, do i think we're good enough for the play offs, no.. we're pretty ordinary, which Leicester quite comprehensively put us in our place, but saying we're this little club punching above our weight bollocks for eternity isn't true, we've been paying multi millions for years into this club, and we've been largely been sh*te, fans are still staying away BTW, which tells you everything
Don’t hold back, tell us how you really feel

Bollocks. Spending big does not ensure success, it never has done and there are enough examples in today’s 92 to prove it.

You will have to explain what you mean by paying millions into the club.

So, to summarise:

You think we're mediocre and don't think we're good enough for the playoffs, but you're still annoyed at us for spending what is still quite a modest spend for the league (compared to the parachute clubs) to try and compete better (which we are), and then you claim we've been lavishing "millions for years" into the club, which isn't really true, but even if it was, the current owners have only been here about a year so had nothing to do with most of it.

You're all over the place. I don't think you actually know what you're annoyed at, you just know you're annoyed about something.

If that’s what he meant by paying millions into the club then he’s also failed to realise that most Championship owners (and probably League One owners) have been doing the same for years.

Yes.

Also, there's a world of difference between chucking in millions just to keep the lights on, and spending millions on the football team.

Yeah, whatever mate, keep making things up in your own head, it might make sense one day, but I've been reading you for about a year, and you're on the retirement list like ECB and Neath_Jack.. stealing a living

The Levein group were putting in 20 million a season, League One clubs are not putting 20 million a season, our current ownership group have already invested 35+ million.. it's amazing how much you belittle me on here, nearly every poster, our accounts are out there, but ignore facts and have a pop like

You can't steal a living and be retired. Just saying.
In a job, that the company can't get rid, because you're so incompetent, millions are like it, but you've reached 50+ and have more front than Russell Martin, so you think you know sh*t, but there's only one person that the Premier League wanted to employ in this conversation and for 14 years had my phone and computer bugged by security services, because I'm thick as f*ck

Couldn't agree more. You're a wise sage.
