• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

As always some of us overhype players.
We are not a settled team yet and rely so heavily on one or two individuals.
Look at Ayew last season, without him we'd have been midtable.....now this season we are below midtable.
We have the whiff of a relegation team at the moment.

Agree with every word - good point about Ayew too. He carried us, and Cooper at times. But at least Cooper was/is pragmatic. Russell Martin has a vision of how to play which is fine when you've got Premier League cash coming in. But you can't turn average players into technical players. Not in one season, not in 3 seasons, not in 10. I'd take Russell Hobbs over Martin right now. The man fancies himself as a big time charly. Cooper was down to earth.

You could say that Martinez / Rodgers turned average players into technical players.

First half today was abysmal. I only watched the second half because I’d lined up 3 stowford press on the windowsill and I couldn’t find the remote or be arsed to move. Found it now, stuffed down the back of the settee it was. Also found a toffee penny and a coconut eclair which I ate immediately with glee. It’s only now I’m thinking we didn’t have a box of roses or quality street this year so there either last years or they’re left over from the people who owned the sofa before me. I’m not touching the fish finger!

17th out of 24 feels about right at moment given the sh1te we play.

We are lucky Peterborough and Barnsley are so poor.
Derby climbing and Hull on the up.

Just hope our cousins keep losing 🤞

Well, I wasn't wrong was I?

Losing 1-0 AT HOME against the mighty & powerful, all conquering...Luton Town.

Our manager is of League 1 standard, our players are of League 1 standard and I hope our owners enjoy League 1 because that's where we will be playing our football either next season or the one after.

This club has ZERO ambition.
