• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Looks like Lord Bony was right...

On a similar subject, I think this opinion piece by Sally Rooney in the Guardian makes a very good point:

On 20 June, in what has now become an appallingly familiar story, Israeli forces once again opened fire on Palestinians at an aid distribution site, this time killing 23 people. The same day, it was revealed that activists affiliated with the UK group Palestine Action had broken into an RAF base and defaced two military aircraft in an act of protest. One of these actions involved the intentional use of lethal violence against civilians, resulting in the deaths of 23 loved and irreplaceable human beings. The other involved no violence against any living things and resulted in no deaths or injuries. The UK government has now announced its intention to deal with one of these incidents as a terrorist offence. Guess which.

I agree with the writer that this Labour government has once again got its priorities all mangled. Not that Keir Starmer will lose any sleep, but its yet one more reason why this 70 year old lifelong Labour voter will never again be voting for them while he is leader.

Well that the kind of shit people are getting at aren’t they?
Poor old Iran innit?
Fuk Iran I couldn't give a fuk about them, but you being you can't see the bigger picture on how fragile the World is after he has sent the bombers in, Iran has massive allies in Russia and China, Iran aren't gonna suffer this attack lightly and will definitely attack US interests in the Middle East which invoke a massive response from the US and will pull the UK into things as well.

We got to many powermad megalomaniacs in control of these countries.

Why did Trump and the US do this now??

Great post Pego.

Egoistical sociopath uses superpower’s arsenal to counter a social media meme. TACO - Trump Always Chickens Out.
Trump's been lead like a little puppy by Netanyahu his master to do what he's done, good help us all, it's coming and soon, the wet lettuce Starmer will involve us at some point 100%

You shouldn’t be allowed a vote anyway.

I could be wrong because he doesn’t like to talk about it but I believe he lives outside of the U.K. Spain maybe.
Ahhh ok, I didn't know he lived abroad, lovely in Spain apparently, I can't afford to even visit on a hang-glider. One day perhaps 🙏

You can feck right off, I'm a British citizen and therefore perfectly entitled to vote in British general elections in perpetuity. And conversely, not allowed to vote in Spain at any level above local council.
Any more out of you and I might not come back and spread my largesse around so often. 😂
