• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Sham, what meals did you make on the Keto diet?
A work colleague is staring it today funnily enough.

Chicken and brocolli mainly. The thing about keto is, if you are doing it correctly, you never feel hungry.

I used to eat steak , pasta and broccoli in my mid 20's when I was flat out weight training.
Brilliant gains.

Look up Dr Ken Berry on you tube, he’s an American GP who promotes the keto diet.. interesting bloke.

Have you been trying it Lifey, it seems another of those dieting fads to me, you surely can't stay on a keto diet indefinitely or can you??

Have done close to 10k steps a day since the turn of the year and have eaten relatively cleanly and avoided beer. I'm really pleased with the start that I have made.

Put a pound on so far

Consider reducing carbs, avoid "low fat" foods and embrace fats.

I'm desperate to lose weight, but I need a lifestyle change, crisps, biscuits chocolate ice cream etc are no good, but are so nice

Its doable though,

Try drinking 40 pints of ale a week instead of 50 pints.

You don't need to complicate it

To lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit, that is more being burned than going in.

Adapt your lifestyle to achieving that, no named diet can do anything different

It's hard but you have to stick with it, habits can be made/changed in just 30 days.

Good luck

No never have sugar in or coffee when I do have coffee, I'm a Tea pot, not much of a coffee drinker, I do like a Costa's Latte now and again, I love the smell of coffee though, but just that bothered about drinking the stuff.

 Silly c@@t, you had move beers with your Turkey Curry Christmas day than I've had the last 3 weeks.

3 bottles of Punk IPA new yrs eve and 2 bottles of Adnams Ghost Ship ale, new yrs day, that was all I had since 17th of December, got a fridge full here, but can't say Im bothered to drink them either, its lost its appeal.
