• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Being fair(again), he certainly will play a certain way but he can back it up by promotion from the conference and being up the top in league 2(currently 5th).
There was always an argument from the start with Martin that he only ever had MK Dons around mid table at best and it was mainly down to a certain style of play that would never bring more than those finishes in the table........Williams if he were to come would play virtually the same style with a promotion and current top 5 placing to boot.
The press don't seem to be picking up on LW. Is it just another rumour?
Hope it is not. Hope he comes here and reverts back to our passing game. The academy was built up around this over the last two years and the Duff appointment had started to dilute this somewhat. I have it on pretty good authority that Duff had very little interest in the youngsters and did not go near the academy.
Back to the passing game with talent development, coupled with a more than capable scouting squad, is the only way forward as investment is non-existent.
