It’s a local journalist who relies on scoops from the club he reports on, he’s not going to blatantly make up things which are said to him. He’d be crucified.

I’m not that old yet, and although I can admittedly be gullible, this is just simple common sense.

Unsure what Risc has said wrong here. The journalist is to be as trusted with direct quotes from those who cover our club etc. Direct quotes when the journalist has a direct relationship with the manager is unlikely to be lies

I think it is fair to assume that if the journalist reports that one - given who he is and what he has said - it is probably right

The interesting part for me would be whatever we have changed to make us a "no go" to being "almost certain"

I would also go with the journalist last night who stated the three year contract was agreed in principle

How can you feel sorry for the first ever and only football franchise in the UK, basically bought someone else's team in London and moved them to Milton Keynes.. Americans think it's great, but we're completely different animals when it comes to sport, it's ironic that our Americans are poaching him

Small point of order, most American sports fans don't think it's great at all. In fact it's caused massive protests in the past.

See the Baltimore Colts bringing in the moving trucks in the middle of the night to get out of their stadium and on the way to Indianapolis before the fans knew what was happening, or the outrage when the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore.

I know where we are in the food chain, I get that, but at same time I’m not having we are low enough for a guy whose best achievement is finishing bottom half league 1 telling the press he needs to speak to us as we are persistent even after him custard pie’ing us twice

But he wasn't quoting sources. He is a journalist who is in contact with Martin and quoted him.
