The words of Russell Martin this week have been as interesting to listen to as they have been to look into in more depth and, whilst none of us want to be 19th in the league table at the beginning of February, we have to be careful not to make knee jerk reactions and decisions […]

Can't disagree with those words, but there is always a counterargument or view. Firstly it has to be the correct vision as there are 23 other teams in the division that can affect the time it takes. We then can turn to the squad he inherited which he is slowly replacing What happens if key players want away. We've already seen the disruption with one player. Again staying on the players issue are we limited in the market for players to be a for for our style. Not only will the project take time but also funds. I'm sure there are some gems out there at the right price, its finding them and persuading them that their future is at Swansea. Reading this back it does sound negative, but it's not intended in that way. If it was all down to a Swansea bubble then ok but there will be so much out of our control.

I am happy to trust the process but we should be higher in the take whilst going through the process.
If he hasn’t got all the players to implement that process whilst developing and creating something different like he’s said on the OS this morning he needs to change things in games where he can’t and that to me seems to be his biggest problem.

He's a car salesman. Talks utter waffle and has nothing to back up his claims.

would you buy a second hand car from him?

We were doing very well until Naughton went off for me, Smith slows us up, he works hard, but he's not a forward thinking player, Martin seems to trust him though. He needs to give Obafemi games, he will start scoring you can sense it he gets into those positions and has genuine pace, same with Wolfie, some saying that should have scored those 2 chances, he was at pace for the first chance got a toe onto the ball, but not enough to direct it, it'll come for him. Martin got my support after the Luton, we played very well on times, got undone by a pacey break away, it happens.

I'm a bit old fashioned. I used to recruit and encourage managers in business that play what's in front of them, using all the resources at their disposal as well as they can, rather than trusting any 'process'. Painting by numbers (thanks Lisa!) doesn't produce masterpieces. Football is not a sausage machine where you put the ingredients in one end and consistent turd shaped objects emerge the other...although...

So no, sorry, I don't trust the process, or any process. Maybe when football is played by robots...but only if it's against other robots.

That all said, lets hope 'the process' bloody well stars working pronto and our robots, sorry, players, stop malfunctioning.

Can you get through to players your vision?
Have you the players for that vision?
If not change that one vision?

Give me , give me fried chicken

The point about Smith is the one that worries me. He kills everything going forward and it was completely the wrong call to bring him on for Naughton.

If Martin trusts him, maybe Smith is The Process
