Steve Cooper situation here.
Don’t know how betting markets usually work but I find it strange that you can still place bets on the next Southampton manager, normally if there’s a clear favourite it gets suspended or taking off the site completely.

The club want to relieve Martin of his duties and for that reason he wants out. If a club like Soton comes and takes him off our hands it greases the wheels and everyone comes out of it relatively unscathed, but where it gets untidy is when the hierachy at Saints suddenly s**t the bed when they realise they're being sold a pup. Our board have to eat a s**t sandwich where they just can't win and have to sack him or keep him, at which point he'd have to walk if not sacked. He won't walk so if Southampton wake up to the fact that they've been hustled we're going to be stuck with him for another year, against the wishes of everyone that has a stake in it. It's really not that complicated.
cos Russ wont go if there is no where to go to and the yanks wont sack him cos they wont want to pay compo.Risc said:But it was all agreed for him to go? Why would we be stuck with him another year if it did fall through with Soton?
