As long as he keeps learning I'm firmly in his camp

It’s the suicidal defensive play that gets me, there’s simply no need for it, nothing wrong with playing from the back but not when everyone at the back is tightly marked.Dr. Winston said:monmouth said:I don’t think he is what we need, but the after match made me a lot more optimistic about his connection with players. I find it difficult to dislike him, although he frustrates the hell out of me.
His instincts are good. He clearly wants to play football the right way and when we are on our game and playing well we're a hell of a lot of fun to watch. The problems for me lie in the way he clearly has his favourite players who feature come what may, whilst others can quickly find themselves out of favour and out of the squad. That and the fact that we're still regularly gifting chances and goals with some suicidal defensive play.
A team is highly unlikely to get promoted when they concede as many goals as we do. If he can't get to grips with that issue then his tenure will probably end in ignominious failure.
