I’m not the one making conclusions on players in their first season in the country in their early 20’s, I leave that to the experts, as should you.

There's never a conclusion until a player leaves or retires. So far some don't look up to it. They have time to turn it round but so far there aren't many signs they will (blind faith - new league, new language etc etc). Maybe they'll never get used to the speed or start liking Rossi's rissoles. Alternatively im not convinced by Stamenic and Widell, but they are showing and contributing something - that isn't blind faith.

But like I said, you have no idea of their development arc so any comment that they don’t look up to it is based on nothing because you have no idea where they are expected to be right now in terms of their levels.

No, I can only comment on what I see on the pitch.

But could have been given a major signing on fee to make him come here over others. A perfect example of not knowing anything about these deals yet making a judgement on cost.

No doubt he did have a signing on fee. But using judgement I wouldnt say we paid him anything like some of the transfer fees we've paid this summer.

But you have no idea what was paid to Vipotnik or for others, which we have already spoken about, so you can’t even begin to make a judgement.

I form an opinion based on common sense, logic and the tidbits of information we hear.

As we've been over previously, by your logic you wouldn't ever class a signing as bad because you use your comfort blanket blind spot.

Like you wont admit Bony 2nd time was a huge mistake because the club didn't explicitly announce he was earning his ridiculous wage per week so you pretend he wasn't. When everyone knows he was.

No amount of common sense or logic can lead you to the accurate price of a player. You are guessing, and guessing based on other people’s guesses which is even crazier.

We can state a signing was bad if it turns out to be bad, but we can’t make a judgement on whether it was bad due to cost because we don’t know it.

Bony second spell was bad because he was… bad.

Common sense and logic is a stretch

Vipotnik wouldn't be here now if most of the experts on here had thier way...
