Something decidedly strange about this whole Montague scenario.
After one of the best transfer windows I can remember, then surely it was a collaborative thing, with all parties involved working together?
Time will tell.
As my dear old mum would say… “I suppose it will all come out in the wash”
He went on holiday last week of the window. Deserved the boot

I think it's clear. He didn't see or have same vision as the club. He wasn't a big fan of all our signings either, as being reported by Indy.

'holiday' ! Lols, some of our fans, aye.
Well.. Its reported it wasn't exactly a well deserved holiday. He didn't deal with any of the last remaining signings. And time was ticking for him to go. Your next question is where did I get that information. I'm lieing the works
My response. Research 😛

Just thinking out loud here.... There was a strange, long delay with us officially signing Stamenic.... his eventual signing would be a similar date to when Montague 'went on holiday'. I wonder if it was a case of Worth getting 90% of the deal done but Monty not wanting to rubber stamp it?

I was in the press conference after the match today and towards the end Tom Coleman asked Sheehan’s thoughts about Montague leaving… there was a huge pause from Sheehan, he looked at the press officer who shrugged his shoulders, and then asked Coleman ‘Has he spoken to you?’… it all felt a bit bizarre… as if they’re expecting Montague to go to the press about it.

Very interesting programme notes from Gorringe too.
