Where a suspect is remanded in Custody, the criminal justice system only allows a maximum of 182 days before the trial has to start, that’s the law.

But like others have said, the trials are going to run for weeks, so there'll be very little news to report on. If you think the inauguration getting more coverage on the day than these trials starting will somehow prove your point, I'm going to have to disagree.

If someone in the government has organised this in a nefarious way as you suggest, then they've done a piss poor job of it. Which wouldn't be surprising to be fair, but I just can't see the benefit of doing so.
