New Manager

I know it's non-league but it takes some ambition to even try that style of football there. If he can get non-league players doing it, I think that's a good sign for his coaching ability.

Also just spent 3 years in the Championship so will know us, and the league inside out.

I csn see the logic here. It was never going to be a flashy or pricy hire.

Hopefully he will bring in Johansen from Fulham if Grimes is going there, looked a good player on loan at QPR last season.

Really surprising pick.

Slightly downbeat feeling after the news earlier now too.

Not doubting that he could be great but no great coaching career to speak of, it feels like we've reached rock bottom a little bit.

We'd be paying compensation too!

It does feel like we're preparing for League One, we're in for a battle this season

The squad feels weak as it is, dread to think the amount of goals scored in professional football for example. Not that it is necessarily an indicator but with Grimes and Roberts looking possibles to leave that leaves us without Guehi, Roberts, Grimes, Ayew and Hourihane out of the end of season squad. That was the core experience and it's gone, regardless of how woeful Hourihane was

Any idea why he left Kidderminster? Haven't looked it up

Wouldn't be unhappy with Cameron T and I'd support Eustace if he got the gig.

My choice would be Guidolin who I hear still lives in the area. Wheth hebwould work forbthebyanks after the way he was treated last time is queatipnable.

What's Osian Roberts doing these days?

As long as we're avoiding the usual Pulis/Hughes/Pardew roundabout I'm prepared to keep an open mind.

Quite a few of the people slagging Eustace would be creaming themselves at the prospect of Rangel.

I’m with you. We have to rebuild and we’ve done it in the past with this kind of gamble. Personally I’d be happy with Toshack. It’s not all about experience, and if Jnr has got half the charisma and know ho that his old man has got we’d be fine.

Noticed Jody Morris has come into the betting, Cameron Toshack odds have shortened slightly.

According to some sites initial sounding out of Eustace took place last week, this could gather pace pretty quickly if the board settle on him as their main man.

He did something wrong and got carpeted for it.
