This Martin just seems to be another journeyman with a meh type of feel and with very bad recommendations from most Rovers fans.

If it does end up being this guy, god only knows what has fully gone on but it would suggest that Gorringe is the man the owners seem to be backing.

We use data to make our decisions these days for recruitment of players and managers so why not do it for this? At least appoint someone who has some potential or has had a level of success. Martin hasn’t got glowing reviews from either Rovers or Stoke fans. Speakman who helped Sunderland get promoted is out of work, if we want to be ambitious, that is the type of appointment I’d like to see.
