At the risk of angering Joe Rodon's brother, thought he was a bit of a twat tonight, all in all.

Just tonight?

All gone to his head. Looked like a pub player. Oh and what the fuck is it with our fans applauding and singing for other teams players.

He paid for the young lads funeral so people were going to show some respect to him. Cheer up mun.

Why would you be worried about angering Rodon’s brother?

Fair enough, I either didn’t know or had forgotten.

Which was a tremendous gesture, fair play to OMcB.

Well he didn’t score against us, and Mitchs family were overcome when he went over to them at half time. Have some compassion man, his family were in bits.

I have compassion man, it was a beautiful gesture especially from a player whos not associated with us anymore
But he said himself 'We're not friends until after full time' and I agree

Aye and you wouldn’t have been saying that if you were part of that young lads family tonight. Football isn’t more important than things like that. It’s fuck all in the grand scheme of life and death.

A nice but very sad moment wasn't it. Puts everything into perspective.

Oli was class tonight. Coming over at halftime to hug Mitchs family, then busted a gut when he came on. Good luck to him.

I wondered who’d be the first to rush in with the outrage about our fans showing a bit of respect to a former player. Some people need to grow up or get another hobby cos some things are bigger than football.

Top man, think he’d be back here in a heartbeat if he could. Really liked our fans clapping Oli on Rhian off. Bit of class. It is just sport.
