Fotheringham been linked to the Norwich job, coincidence we’ve looked crap since he left?

You'd think as a fairly comfortable Championship club with recent PL experience, we'd be able to attract someone with a modicum of pedigree. I get that it is often a financial thing, but we should be doing better than promoting assistant managers with hardly any experience or trawling the lower leagues to uncover a gem (which often goes wrong).

I am hoping we’ll be looking in a slightly higher bracket, I’m not sure why, maybe it’s the player recruitment from the summer appearing more ambitious. Hopefully prospective managers will look at the fact we spent a bit of money in the summer and see us as an attractive option, off field hype around Celebrity investors can’t hurt either.

Since relegation:

Potter - a chin stroking, laptop loving "trust the process" type, where the possession battle was more important than the result

Cooper - a pragmatist, who delivered dour football with a results-come-first mentality

Martin - a chin stroking, laptop loving "trust the process" type, where the possession battle was more important than the result

Duff - a pragmatist, who delivered dour football with a results-come-first mentality

Williams - a chin stroking, laptop loving "trust the process" type, where the possession battle was more important than the result

Sheehan - a pragmatist, who delivered dour football with a results-come-first mentality

Can you guess what's up next?...
