Clearly you don't.

Londonlisa2001 said:I think we have a better chance of promotion by selling Piroe for, say £12m and buying two players at £2-3m each and using the rest to cover some of the deficit. I don’t believe him to be so special in this division that he can get us up. As he hasn’t for the past two seasons despite scoring 20+ goals each time.
Some players are close to being that special - I’d argue that Sinclair was so special when we had him in that promotion season that it would not have made sense to sell him. For me, at least, Piroe doesn’t come close.
As an aside, it will be interesting to see how he does if he goes to the premier league. It’s rare that players that lack any sort of pace can score a load of goals. I hope he does well as I like him, but I’m not convinced at premier league level.
Niigata Jack said:Lets say Everton want to swap Simms with Piroe we won't be getting 3-5 million on top, Dyche would probably want Piroe and us pay 2 million on top for Simms, noway Dyche would pay what we deserve to receive for Piroe.
Nocountryforoldjack said:Us not going up the last two seasons had nothing to do with Piroe, the blame for that lies squarely at the door of a shite manager and defence and well you know it. It's a team game and Piroe more than played his part it's just a shame the defence didn't because if they had we'd of been in the playoffs last season guaranteed. Is he premier quality, only time will tell.
Londonlisa2001 said:Obviously not. I was replying to the comment that he’s the best chance we have of going up. I’m pointing out he’s not special enough to be able to do that with the squad we have and we’re better off investing the money we would get in a couple of players in different positions.

J_B said:Yeah, that works. Dyche values Simms higher than Piroe so he wants to weaken his squad.
Niigata Jack said:He's scored 44 goals in two seasons, playing in various forward positions, yet you think he's not special enough, ok then
Londonlisa2001 said:Not to get us up compared to what we’d be able to do with the money given the situation we are in. I’ve already said I like him and is keep him if money wasn’t an object.
The problem with these discussions is that someone always tries to extrapolate out what’s been said.
He will go anyway in a year, I just think we’re better off getting value for him now as I don’t think he would be able to get us up this year anyway. That’s all.

Very true, although it wasn't deliberate on this occasion, anyway if Watson can use his charm and get some help from to ownership maybe he can get him to sign a new contract and he can maybe move on next yr or yr after, he's still young.
