• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Watching Coventry is boring. Few chances created, all very safe and backwards.

Bit like watching us pre January.

I wonder why.

Coventry had the better of that half. Sunderland are playing the same tactics as the first leg, defending deep and trying to hit them on the break. They've been pretty poor at it so far though.
There may be more opportunity as the game progresses, because Coventry will have to take more chances, but I wouldn't like to call this one.

I get the feeling Coventry will get an equaliser and it’ll go to ET

I see nothing in either of these sides that says to me they'll worry Sheffield United in the final. Coventry look blunt up front, and Sunderland can't string a pass together.

This division is piss poor, let's be honest.

Imagine one of these two in the PL. Unbelievable Jeff. Coventry one shot on target 64% of possession, Grimesy statting gloriously. The ghost of Swansea past.

Wish we had Hummel kits again

All white with the black Hummel arrows down the arms and shorts looks very classy

"Sunderland are having an inquest" says the commentator after Coventry's goal.

Not being funny, but they've played like an away team at home, when you do that you always risk it backfiring. Serves them right.

Just like the Wurzels, what are Sunderland doing in the play offs? They are a shambles of a football team.
It just goes to prove that if you get a good start to the season - and they did - you can sort of just linger in the playoff positions and stay there, even if you fall off a cliff in the second half of the season.

Coventry lost two of their last three to almost fuck up getting into the playoffs, but Sunderland lost their last 5 games! Amazing they beat Coventry in the first leg given their form.

They lost their last five of the regular season and only scored one in the last six. That’s terrible form by any measure.

If Sunderland don't get through this tie somehow, their coach will be very close to the sack. Scarily reminiscent of Steve Cooper, tonight's performance is.
