• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I don't really care if a person buys one private plate or fifty. You can't buy class. A private number plate owner may want to influence what someone thinks of them - I happen to think negatively about it.

That's my solicitor mate Kevin, lives between Baglan and Port Talbot.

Was his old man a nasty teacher?

He wasn't nasty, Dazza, just a bit strict. I've seen him whack misbehaving youths across the arse with a cricket bat once or twice in the gym. Was it you?

Ha I was talking to KL in the Cinnamon Kitchen a few months ago and his exact words to me were “if my father was a teacher today he’d be arrested.”

You can’t blame him for hitting children with a cricket bat?

No word of a lie we were driving up the A42 going to watch the Swans years ago and we were behind this shit 4x4 and I said to my wife look at that number plate MAG1C.
As we overtook them it was Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee was sleeping in the passenger seat with her feet up on the dashboard.

Back in the day, the actress Fiona Richmond was often seen driving around London in a car with the excellent reg plate FU2 although the car actually belonged to porn king, Paul Raymond. It's a shame you can't get plates like FUK 1T because they won't release them

You deserved to be physically assaulted as a school child by a person in a position of authority?
