Desperate signing by the board to boost season ticket sales. His body will not cope with the championship.

Can you imagine it, Saturday, Tuesday and Saturday, it wouldn't be long before he's on the treatment table.

He's garbage now. Will be poncing about with his flicks and 5 touches and be totalled by Millwall in 20 minutes.

It makes our Bony nonsense seem almost sensible (but not).

Probably a PR stunt by a club in deep, deep trouble?

Bale chose LA (understandably), then retirement over playing for his hometown club, which a fair proportion of their fans thought was a foregone conclusion. Some of them will be suicidal if Ramsey doesn't join them.

At his peak he'd have struggled with the grind of the Championship, he's always been fragile.
He'll keep their physio busy.

Am delighted he's gone there, strengthens their relegation prospects. He is now fckn useless.

Similar to Allen coming back here, well past his best and his body won't last. Would be better off spending the wages on a player who'd be available all season

Isn't he a free agent therefore outside any embargo?

In answer to the OP, he will undoubtedly shine in that team full of turds.
How often his body will allow him to do that is the issue.

He's looked awful for Wales in the last 9 months but he will certainly help shift some replica shirts.

When was he ever any good for Wales? Never is the answer btw.

He's certainly no Joe Allen.

This transfer embargo has really hurt them fair play the rule is not worth the paper its written on, they are probably spending more on signing on fees and wages than they would have on signing players, its fuking laughable, the rule should be that they and others who are or have been in similar situations shouldn't be able to register new players, unless they can prove that they can't cover the squad numbers required and that should include U21's.

"Under an embargo, clubs are allowed to sign players on loan or free agent deals if they have less than 23 players of professional standing in their squad"

Is what I've just read. Not sure what 'professional standing' means - over 18yrs old? Over 21?

Think they have 20 over 21 years old players currently.

That confirms my thoughts on the Transfer embargo rules that thay are a fuking joke then.
