Relegation Update

A minimum of 49 points needed for safety maybe 50..

If Cardiff win both games takes them to 49 with a current -23 goal difference.

So they can only realistically catch Hull and Derby

The bad result would be if Derby draw at Hull giving Cardiff a chance to catch both.

If Cardiff beat West Brom of course.

Luton can catch Hull, Derby, Oxford, Preston and Stoke

If they beat Coventry on Saturday

Oxford still need another win to avoid Luton catching them

Very possible Preston could drop if they lose to Plymouth and Bristol City
If Derby draw at Hull , Cardiff would be unlikely to catch Hull because of Hull superior goal difference, currently 14 in Hull favour.

The only result that really matters on Saturday is Scumbo losing or not beating WBA. I don't think the cockroaches will spawn themselves out of this one.

I'm hoping that WBA and Norwich sacking their bosses sort of makes them unscoutable, if you get what I mean.

Cardiff will have planned for WBA coming down with a certain formation and approach. I can't see the caretaker just blindly continuing with what hasn't been working. So hopefully they do something different and catch Cardiff cold.

Same with Norwich last day, fingers crossed.

I still don't think they're good enough to win both. They've only won 9 all season.

That said, a win Saturday will give them a load of momentum.

If they do win both, I think we need Derby to win Sat so it doesn't go to the last game v stoke

Lots of player departures at Norwich and West Brom this summer. Can't see any of them being arsed for the last two games to be honest.

Can see RM possibly ending up at Norwich for next season.

This is the crux of it.
Lose & they're down.
Anything else takes it to the last day.
I don't think any of the bottom 3 will win on Saturday.
And Derby will beat Hull.

Draw and they're down. They have to win both to have any chance, and even that may not be enough.

They have to better Derby's result or they are down thats basically it Almost, they could still pass Hull if they ( Hull ) lose both.

Who else do we fancy to go down? Would be pretty impressive if Plymouth managed to stay up after seemingly writing off the first half of their season, look decent at the minute but sense it's too late.

From a purely selfish away day perspective, would much prefer Hull go down instead of Derby. Hope/fancy it'll be Hull, Luton, Diff as the final three

I hope Cardiff finish bottom - there is as much chance of that as there is of scraping out of it. I think they will survive though, somehow.

Plymouth, Cardiff, and Hull or Derby depending on their game. Luton have tough games but they are in good form and I can see them getting 4 points.

That would be serious roachery. Not peak, as they were saved in 2010 by the only stupid f****r on the entire planet that was in the least interested in bailing them and the Riddler out. Otherwise they’d be extinct.

Now they blame him because they are shit, after he’s spent gazillions on their pathetic ‘sleeping giant’. Dead Dwarf more like.

I could see Preston or Oxford dropping if they both lose Saturday

I think Luton will pull one of these in with Hull and Derby escaping just

MILLWALL v SWANSEA CITY
