• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Hope they at least had the balls to hold out for a sell-on clause. If he turns out to become as good as we think he can be we might still cash in. Big ‘if’ though.

Become?

Ah well, it’s survival, and I think Rodon might be made of glass anyway. He still has a lot of developing to do. Time will tell. I’d like to have seen a structure with a big sell on clause, just in case.

If he goes straight into the team his Premier career is gonna be shorter than Dan James. The academy has saved us from going under. FACT.

I think he could go to the very top if he stays fit.
I think he’s a superb athlete and could possibly become the best player ever to come out of Swansea.

Sad to se him go and at a bargain price, only positive for me is the players we have brought in, and Andre is still with us.

I dont see it myself. I wasnt convinced about Dan James and Im not convinced by by Rodon. Time will tell.

£11M raising to £15M if he scores a hatrick against Arsenal.. Just saw Dick Turpin eastbound on the M4

I will wait until he wins Premier league player of the season before I try and evaluate the financial merits of the transfer. Last year there was bleating aplenty about how we were fleeced by Utd for Dan James. There are no Utd fans who agree with that right now.

I definitely wasn’t convinced about James but I just feel this boys got a touch of the Beckenbauers about him.

Im more worried about how we will miss him. Bennet seems like a decent replacement. Will we miss Joe? Did we miss him when he got injured last season? League table says no. :?:
