Wonder if Bale had any input on the signing ?
Wish him well.

He was never worth £25m but £11m guaranteed is Levy pulling our pants down again.

Having said that, it's entirely possible that the club have taken the decision that it's best to get what we could and reinvest that into overall squad depth.

Given that we've kept Ayew and could well add Borini to the mix as well, overall Cooper's got a stronger hand to play today than he did last game.

Swansea City offered most valuable player Joe Rodon to Tottenham on a silver platter — and then sold him on the cheap

Ok I'm over Joe going, had my weep, we move on, on reflection great window for us, the jacks are going up, you heard it her first

We've bent over and begged spurs for a shafting, if spurs would of offered 5 Mill we would of accepted it, sends out a great message for future sales. We've been had. Winter earning his coin already.

Spurs "would of" offered more than 5 mil already.

Same agent, Mr Barnett.

And the price Spurs paid reflects the fact that no other club were interested in Rodon, who obviously wanted to head off to land of Premier league wages and not stick around in Swansea for another year.

They offered £7 million and we didn't take it.
Just accept the stratospheric figures mentioned by some supporters were never going to be met.
We priced him at £18m to get offers around £15m which is what we appear to have got.
I would imaging £4m add ons reflect Spurs' concerns over his injury record.
While we think he's sensational to Spurs he's a bit of a gamble.
