He would do well under Rodgers, good club to move to if he's guranteed to start.

Do you think he starts ahead of Soyuncu and Evans?

Natural replacement for Evans, and it wouldn't be a shock to see Joe take his place regardless.

Just seen Leicester have agreed a 35M fee for a CB from St Etienne.

If you have followed social media over the last month then it would be easy to believe that West Ham Utd have not got any spending money

You can say that again. Oh you did.

32 year old Evans is out injured again, perfect place for Joe to go to mature under Brendan

Richard thinks he’s crap.

If he goes, he couldn't do much better than Leicester under Brendan. Perfect fit for him. Hopefully this bid they've put in for another CB will mean we get to keep Joe for another year. Our back line is starting to look super strong and it'd be a shame to break that up as we don't seem to have much strength in depth in the CB department.

Some more positive news is West Ham have bid 20M for a CB from Fiorentina.

Everton’ S reported £20 million up front with £6 million in add ons for Ben Godfrey of Norwich gives an idea of the going rate.

That ultimately turned into £25M plus up to another £5M in add ons - that said he did play a full season in the Prem with Norwich last year so at least in experience terms ahead of Joe.
