• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Ronald

More suited to firm dry pitches than our weather. He plays better in the spring and summer so may grab a goal at our relegation party.

He's struggling to deliver from the right wing, he fails to get to the by-line, his crosses invariably hit the first opponent, think its time to try him at right full back, what have we got lose?

That's not a bad shout, he's got some pace, he's physically strong and he's not afraid to get stuck in. Does he have the positional discipline though?

Only problem there is, he’s always falling over looking for a free kick and then leaves us exposed.
If he does that at right back we are in even worse position.
I think Parker at right back and Ronald stays away from the team

I would call Congreve back in Jan.
I watched him in preseason against Exeter and he was by far our best winger.
Direct and put a load of dangerous balls into the box

As the old Bing song goes, str8 down the middle, running at them at speed in MF...yeah go on take the wizz,

I'm not sure Ronald is the sharpest tool in the box. Either that or he is still struggling with English.

I'm not sure Ronald can be redeemed at this point. He's more Ronald McDonald than Ronaldo on the spectrum. I used to admire his work rate and his ability to chip in with a few assists, but I think it's clear at this stage that he's not up to it and we need to move on. Same with Benson. F*ck me, our right-hand side is so bad, makes our options on the left seem like Champions League winners in comparison.

Ronald has peaked, I have a funny feeling we've seen the best he can offer at this level.
