He's got a big problem on his hands, the one thing with coopball is he had us tight at the back. Our defence now are leaking goals for fun. Martin has got to get a grip of the back sharpish.

Hamer is awful. We badly need a new GK along with a CB.

We have centre half's trying to be full backs ,we need full backs with pace

There'll be a self proclaimed expert along shortly to tell you how Cooper is a poor manager...

Never mind though, we probably won the passing game again.

Yes, Cooper knows how to manage a defensive outfit and hit on the break (and Forest do have some players with exceptional pace), but if we put away one or two of the open goal chances and Hamer doesn't gift them one, the result would have been much different ... a 4-1 defeat is an extremely fortunate outcome for him ... can't rely on so much good fortune each game ...

And if my granny had bollocks and all that.

That was not good fortune today, that was a combination of poor management and being out thought.

There's no defending Martin today, out thought and out played by Cooper and his team. We are miles away at the moment and we need to get much better really quickly or we are bang in trouble.

What the heck was Flynn Downes doing playing centre half, the talent and engine he's got he should be this teams Darren Pratley, a box to box midfielder. Some of the natives around me are getting restless and were shouting "rubbish Martin" when he came on the pitch at the end. It's one thing losing but today was a hammering, and 3 defeats in a row and 8 conceded isn't good enough. It's no good having a possession based game and creating chances if the result at the end of it is like todays.

Do you get less points for a win if you are a defensive unit that hits on the break?

Nothing fortunate about their win.

So which of the table at nearly the halfway stage should we be looking Russ? I fear this winless run could go on for a bit yet. qpr and millwall away next.

It was one of the best examples of Men vs Boys - on and off the pitch.

A proper schooling, in it's entirety - coaches, CEOs and most importantly on here - the very twp happy clappers, that have only clapped because they didn't like the cut of Coops' jib.

These twp types: karma, you twp fecks.

The twps: take time out to think for yerselves instead of bleating to the tune of the chief Sheepists, you dull fecks.

I do get the impression that RM, in his post match comments, talks as if he is summarising a training session. There is no real analysis of why the opposition beat us, just mentions his pleasure at (usually) most of our play and highlights "a few individual errors, which cost us".

I too found his after match interview strange.
Yes, we could have scored a hatfull had we taken our chances.
Also, had we not made silly errors to give them at least three of the goals, then of course the outcome would have been different.
However, many of us armchair critics can arrive at those conclusions for free.
Martin and his team are getting paid a decent wage to come up with the same conclusion apparently.
Oh, plus he was pleased with the performance, just not the mistakes.
Really Russ ?
