Missed out as I was going to do it, FFS

I already wasted a tenner on Roberts coming so might have dodged a bullet.

I read that Wilder still has a year of contract with Sheffield left, and therefore isn't desperate to rush back into management. And that he turned down fulham as he didn't want to move from the north.

 Not being funny, Fulham's a nicer part of London, but a choice between living there or living in Swansea, in a straight shootout Swansea wins every time. Can't even park a car in Fulham and he'd have to earn ten times what he's earn here to make it worth it.

Troy Parrott is having a medical at Mk Dons now, 9th signing for Martin this window, safe to say this is 100% off Martin coming here?

More chance of having Russell Hobbs (he wouldn't need to pop into Rossi's) or Russell Brand here, or Chris Martin from Coldplay.

Think this one could be ongoing

This is quoted from the radio interview this morning:

-He continued: "We'll roll on, just keep going and making sure we are getting better and better all the time. If something official ever happened, I'm pretty sure you'd know that really quickly. As far as I'm concerned, we're here, we're doing a job and a job I really enjoy."

"After that, I don't know how long the journey will last with us, hopefully, as I've said all along, I plan to be here for a long time, but in football you never know."

He added: "But at this minute in time, I'm happy and with a group of people I really enjoy doing it with."

Reports have largely focused on reported interviews held with Swansea, and Martin having reportedly rejected the club's advances. But it appears as if no approach has been forthcoming.

When finally asked whether or not an approach had been made, Martin responded candidly: "I think the club would've told you. No one's told me there has been."-

An MKDons supporter could read that as fitting the narrative that he is committed to their cause. Alternatively, as Swans fans we could read that as he is keeping his options very much open with a few hedging bets phrases such as "but in football you never know." If I was being wildly optimistic I would read it as he has maybe had talks of a fashion but no formal approach or offer has been made for his services, I certainly read the interview as at least not ruling out staying or going.

Definitely sounds like he’d be interested provided we made an approach, maybe we haven’t then? But I suppose he isn’t going to admit that is he.
