Russys Leaving Party

Russy’s wife there ?

Lots of chatter about a split, allegedly.

Anyone confirm ?

She was in Popworld on Wind St Saturday night knocking back porn star martini's by all accounts 🧐

Hope they give their all for Duff and don’t down tools, Martin is gone so hope the players move on from it wether they agree with him being forced out or not.

The 2 clubs not agreeing compo was nothing to do with Martin.

Some just make it up as they go along clueless

It's gone to tribunal you lemon, who do you think were driving this deal? Russ was obviously a spectator from afar in negotiations.. in a fantasy world maybe

If Martin loves us as much as he makes out, he could / should have made it clear to Southampton that he wants us to be properly compensated. Southampton have parachute payments and plenty of players they can sell for big fees. The release fee isn't crippling for them, so there's no excuse really. It's not like they'd walk away from Martin if he did make a demand like that - they are prepared to go to a tribunal where they could well end up paying the full amount anyway plus maybe our legal fees, Martin would probably be doing them a favour if he made the stand. But he appears not to have bothered.

They’re over it, truly. A clean slate. The players’ allegiance is 100% to themselves, individually and collectively. The gaffer hardly figures.

They’ve moved on and totally into showcasing themselves (individually and collectively).

MD is showcasing himself right now too - and the collective chatter is massively encouraging, in so many ways.

Well, that settles it.

The local chatter also has her Personal Trainer sighted in Popworld neckin a Martini, on the rocks……in so many ways.

Not a bad turnout for a poor man manager who lost the dressing room on at least 6 different occasions

Lost the dressing room on umpteen occasions - and lost his wife to a Personal Trainer on umpteen occasions - there’s a pattern.

A pretty bad turnout, I’d say.

Wouldn’t you, Blouse?

Save the gossip for the hair salon, loser, nobodies impressed with your insider knowledge

A bellend... In so many ways

Come boxing day we can say our own goodbyes in our own sweet way. But let's face it, he'll be gone by then.

I think the reason I never took to Martin (aside from his mind numbing, pedestrian football) is the fact he's clearly a very PR motivated manager.

His little performance in the press conference after the January window to show the fans it wasn't his fault, his constant justification of poor performances by saying how many positives he could take from the games, his repeated insistence that we had such a young team (when he had more experienced players that he chose not to play), the list goes on.

How many times have you heard of managers having a leaving party with their squad? I certainly can't remember hearing of it before, yet here we have a nice posed photo of Martin smiling in the centre of the squad he's chosen to leave to show he's a great guy who gets on so well with his players.

I strongly suspect he'll get found out at Southampton and can't see him being there by the end of the season
