It’s still a game that gets the hairs going up on the back of your neck especially of a certain vintage who remember our play off semi final with them back in the nineties. FA cup adds to that definitely

Absolutely. Which has been the case since the dawn of time. Ever since I followed the Swans when we get drawn against a supposedly ‘Big’ side we got good crowds. Such as at the Vetch v Liverpool, Spurs (League Cup), etc… That’s the magic of the cup.

My point was it's not the money keeping people away Sunday it's more the opposition.

Yes absolutely, having played them so recently it is going to have an adverse effect, unfortunately.

There would be more interest in a lower league team. The worst possible FA Cup draw is against a team in your own division side by side in the table who you played last week.

Spot on, with a lower league team they may be disappointed at first that they didn’t draw one of the Prem big sides, but they would then get excited about playing away in perhaps a new ground for lots of them.

Lots of the lower league grounds are disappearing sadly. There were some gems back in the day. Darlo, Wigan, Reading, Shrewsbury, Oxford, Walsall, Gas, Boro, Colchester to name a few.

Neither do I really but that's the reality unfortunately.
I'll be there on Sunday because its the Swans playing a home game but we never get good crowds for cup games unless we're playing a biggish Premier League side.
