• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Anyone who thinks this is ‘champagne footy’ ain’t no proper Swans fan.

This is blander than plain ol’ Vanilla.

It’s more boring than Sheeeezy’s dire, soulless, predictable pressers.

5th game this season already where we’ve conceded either in the last minute of the half or in injury time (both halves against Hull). Concentrate until the whistle ffs.
I think it’s more about keep playing when you’re a goal up. The last minute stuff is generally coincidental because the other team has been unlucky not to score earlier and we buckle under persistent pressure.

Based on mostly the first half, and just watching highlights again now, we dominated and showed so much potential and style. No team is going to have full 45 minutes of control, but you don't drop off and start going into defense mode. Clearly set pieces and the fear of this has kicked in. But that goal was poor. 3 players around 1. We will come out I think like the first half, but we got to stop with the panic.

We seem to play in bursts.

We have 5 mins where we're looking absolutely brilliant, then we have 5 mins where we're merely ok, then 5 mins where we look all over the shop. We go on a loop of doing that about three times per half.

I guess this is what happens when you're still trying to settle into the season and bed new players in. Frustrating.

To be fair, you post like a poor Pembroke Allan.
The only recognition he gets today from me, he has reposted the same comment in few minutes to get a reaction. Really sad. Everyone just continue to ignore him. Not you Monmouth the other one 😂

Not for the first time, you look at the players, you look at the results and The whole is less than the sum of its parts. Like a good engine out of tune, something is not ticking
It’s Sheeeezy

The big bland elephant in the room, on the pitch, destroying our playing identity by Oirish stealth

I think we need Benson on the right and to press ten yards forward. Then we win this.

Oh and stop playing it in the air. We’ve won 24%, Millwall 76%

Galbraith ain’t a proper 8, 10 or 6.

Repeatedly rag-dolled, fails to get his corners past the first man, loses possession freely

Franco offers far far more

Our midfield is worse than dysfunctional - Sheeezy way out of his depth and destroying our USP

We are a good side for the first 30 minutes of games.

But we just do not create enough chances in the box. Other than the goal, we rely on set pieces.

Just lucky that VIP is scoring everything he touches right now.

We are all over the shop, this is going to be Sheehan’s problem you can’t fit all those players into one side

Shame to concede in the last minute.
Great goal and build up from us, to put the first goal on the board.
Millwall always trick tough opponents let's see how we get on, concentrate boys.👍

One shot on target in the first half. This is oh so familiar.
Lose this one and any idea we have had a ''decent start'' will quickly fade away.
